Guided by John Wadell, Head Taster at Peerless, six exceptional barrels—each originally intended for Peerless’ gift shop—were hand-selected by John. From that elite group, TWCP chose what we felt was the standout barrel of those exceptional barrels. Bottled at 110.4 proof, “Sweet Meat BBQ” showcases Peerless’ signature bourbon mash bill (70% corn, 20% rye, 10% malted barley) with a profile that leans savory and rich, balancing deep caramelized sugars, smoked spice, and rich depth.
