J. Rieger & Co. was established in 1887, shuttered by Prohibition in 1919, and reborn in 2014. We began one of our favorite holiday traditions two years later, creating a special-edition holiday label for our category- defining Kansas City Whiskey. This award-winning spirit is a blend of straight bourbon whiskey, light corn whiskey, and straight rye whiskey, all aged at least four years, as well as a touch of 15-year-old oloroso sherry from the Williams & Humbert Bodega in Jerez, Spain. Bottled at 92 proof, it’s well-balanced, smooth, and slightly sweet. Our ninth annual holiday offering once again features a highly collectible and delightfully giftable label, inspired by Kansas City’s iconic Plaza Lights and designed in collaboration with our friends at Charlie Hustle.
