2022 Paul Hobbs Pinot Noir George Menini Estate...$94.99
This has fantastic intensity and focus with firm and racy tannins that show blue fruits, orange peel, hibiscus flowers and plants. Medium body. Acid and tannin driven. Complex structure. 85% of this is heritage clones of Mount Eden, Calera and Swan. Drinkable, but better in two or three years.
Rated 97/100 James Suckling
Rated 96/100 Jeb Dunnuck
Great wine from Beaux Frères
2023 Beaux Frères - Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Les Cousins...$45.99
Silky and expressive, with fine-grained tannins and a firm texture. It’s bottled unfined and unfiltered, offering a pure, vibrant expression of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. This wine is crafted from barrels that didn’t quite make the cut for Beaux Frères’ flagship bottlings, but still showcase the estate’s signature elegance and terroir. It’s a fantastic value and ready to enjoy now.
2023 Belle Glos Pinot Noir Clark & Telephone...$39.99
The Clark & Telephone Vineyard was established in 1972 and planted with “own root” Martini clone vines. Located just 13 miles from the ocean and situated on a west-facing slope, this vineyard experiences weather patterns that pull from west to east to bring cool fog and coastal breezes inland until August when Santa Ana winds begin. --winery notes
Burnished black raspberry and graphite form a bond on a foundation of dark chocolate and sweet tobacco. White pepper outlines rose petal on the well-structured palate before perky acidity and a creamy weightiness highlight the lengthy finish.

2023 Flowers - Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast...$55.99
The 2023 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a medium ruby color and is fresh on the nose with notes of lifted spice, compact red berries, Bing cherries, roses, and sweet herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, with a polished and fine texture, a silky feel, and clean elegance through the finish. It’s a lovely and charming Pinot Noir with a lot of finesse to drink over the coming 8-10 years.

2022 Domaine Meo Camuzet Fixin....$65.99
This village-level Fixin is supple and silky, with an elegant bright cherry and pomegranate fruit with an edge of violets. The texture is balanced if not hugely deep, but the wine has an eminently charming finesse. It is produced from the purchased fruit, but always the same parcels in the village of Fixey, including the lieux-dits Le Clos and Les Herbues. It has been racked into tank and should be bottled soon. It will drink on release and has the balance to hold for several years
