Spooky Wines at Kirkwood

Let's be real, gimmicky holiday wines rarely taste good. But these two Halloween wines overdeliver! Perfect for your spooky celebration!

Taste them both along with assorted Pumpkin beers at Kirkwood on

Thursday 10/30 and Friday 10/31

2021 Skull Wine Red Blend...$16.99/750ml
A dry red blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Mission, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Alicante Bouschet. All varieties were fermented separetely using whole cluster carbonic maceration in stainless steel. The blended wine spent 10 month aging in neutral oak. Pair this savory, dark-fruited red with braised lamb with figs.

2022 Valravn Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County...$21.99/750ml
Lively aromas of dusty cherry, licorice and black pepper mingle on the nose of this decadent Cabernet. The palate brings richly textured black cherry, cocoa and anise flavors that evolve for about a minute across the finish. Loving the value here.
Rated 92/100 Wine Enthusiast

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County) might very well be the single greatest Cabernet Sauvignon from California in its price range. Savory and mineral Sonoma notes run through a core of purplish fruit, gravel, incense, licorice, chocolate and dried flowers. (AG)
