Son Scot now continues the tradition, blending a mix of primarily Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petite Sirah with smaller amounts of Barbera, Grenache, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot with the goal of being delicious. It certainly is, offering one of the greatest values in California wine from a family producer, supple, reliable, and approachable, with full-bodied fruitiness that’s balanced and has lasting tannin structure to keep it interesting for another 10 years.
