Cold soak for 5 days on the skins before fermentation and 10 days of post-fermentation maceration.
Aromas and flavors of mature red cherry, blackberry and strawberry, with mild notes of graphite and pencil shavings. Full-bodied and Smooth, with well-matured tannins.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 15% new and 85% neutral.
Yountville in Napa Valley is named after George Calvert Yount, who planted the first vineyard in this area around 1836, Yountville was granted AVA status in 1999. It’s cooler growing conditions result in elegant wines with strong tannins and great aging potential.
