We are right chuffed to have Gregor Stirling visit us at the (In)Famous Bar. He’ll be here pouring malts from the Weymss (pronounced WEEMS) portfolio including the Kingsbarns distillery located in the Lowlands. This is a rare treat so don’t miss out!
Kingsbarns Lowland Single Malt Scotch Balcomie...$57.99 / 750ml
This Single Malt, from the family owned distillery in the Kingdom of Fife, has been distilled using Fife barley and matured in 100% ex-Oloroso American Oak Sherry Butts from Jerez, previously used for maturing Sherry. These casks were specifically chosen by Isabella Wemyss for their gentle oak flavours and sherry rich sweetness to compliment the fruity character of the Kingsbarns spirit. This allows for the perfect balance between the spirit and the wood.

Full of sweet, fruity character, Doocot is light, intensely fruity, floral and complemented by a rich colour coming from the high quality bourbon casks it has matured in. Comprising of the same liquid as our first release Dream to Dram, but undisturbed for a longer oak maturation allowing complexity to develop while maintaining balance, we hope you find the core Kingsbarns spirit still remains firmly within

Kiln Embers is a smoky malt whisky that is made for maximum taste impact by using twice the amount of heavily peated Islay malt whisky than our Peat Chimney release. Additionally Highland, Speyside and Lowlands malts are used sparingly in the blend to bring sweet, rich and citrus balance to this heavily peated release.
Darnley’s Original Gin….$28.99 / 750ml
The Inspiration: Our recipe for Darnley’s Original was inspired by elderflower growing wild around the Wemyss family estate in Scotland.
We knew we wanted to create a light, floral, citrus flavoured gin in the London Dry Style which honours our distillers past.
Uses six botanicals including Elderflower, coriander, lemon peelNose: Pine needles, juniper, elderflower, cloudy lemonade, floral notes
