Paranubes Anejo Rum

Paranubes Rum is an artisanal aguardiente de caña produced in the rugged Sierra Mazateca of northern Oaxaca. Hidden deep in mountain valleys, the organically grown cane fields date back hundreds of years to not long after cane arrived in Mexico. Maestro Jose Luis Carrera is a third-generation producer, whose grandfather founded his community of Rio Tuerto, home of Paranubes. He has created a truly unique rum, with a rich body and notes of overripe fruit, and savory accents of nightshade and sea air

Paranubes Anejo "Black" Rum...$57.99 / 750ml

To begin our barrel aging program, we sourced a selection of barrels that were used for by our friends at Siembra Azul Tequila. These casks were a blend of their favorite Añejo and Extra Añejo stock chosen to celebrate their 12th Anniversary. This selection of six casks included one French Oak cask, which we periodically release as a VERY limited single cask. This particular expression was aged 26 months on-site at Jose Luis’ ranch.

Paranubes Anejo "Red" Rum...$57.99 / 750ml

To begin our barrel aging program, we sourced a selection of barrels that were used for by our friends at Siembra Azul Tequila. These casks were a blend of their favorite Añejo and Extra Añejo stock chosen to celebrate their 12th Anniversary. We then in turn selected our favorite American Oak cask to release as a single barrel Añejo which was aged 18 months.
