Matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, a few drops of water were added post maturation to produce a Batch Strength of 57% abv. The result is a colossal dram combining the natural peat smoke and citrus character of Kilchoman with dark fruits, rich spices and salted caramel sweetness.

In addition to our flagship New Riff Bourbon and Rye, our distilling team has stretched their creative muscles over the years, producing a number of what we call "specialty whiskeys". Balboa Rye is one of the first specialties we made. Our corn farmer Charles Fogg has been growing heirloom rye on his family's farm for many years. His chosen variety was Balboa rye, an heirloom grain which dates back to the 1940s as a rye variety popular in Indiana. He offered it to us and we distilled it into rye whiskey, probably the first time in decades that Balboa has been made into whiskey and quite surely the only example on the market today.
Now it has grown up in the barrel! Typical of heirloom rye, the Balboa grain is a little smaller than modern varieties, with a lower output per acre of planting -- but it's no less flavorful for that! Our Balboa Rye whiskey offers shimmering notes of spiced fruit unique from our flagship New Riff Rye.

Tequila Cascahuin Destino is a combination of six blanco tequilas, blended in different quantities to obtain three blanco tequilas that were finally integrated into a total mixture to reach its destiny.  This is a blanco tequila at 49% ABV, crafted through a process that combines cooking methods such as pit ovens and brick ovens, extracting juices by roller mill and tahona, and fermenting in wood, stainless steel, and concrete, with a double distillation without any water dilution. With this special edition, the goal is to reflect the journey of three direct generations as a tequila company or distillery, which has been growing and maintaining the same philosophy with people committed to tequila—to tequila Cascahuin.
As for flavors and aromas, Destino is a complex tequila, but with a lot of frankness and a pure conception of tequila. It is recommended to enjoy and share in your best moments.

Sazerac Cocktail

• 1 Cube Sugar 
• 1 1/2 ounces of Sazerac Rye (in stock)
• 1/4 ounce of Herbsaint  (in stock)
• 3 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters  (in stock)
• lemon peel 

Pack an Old-Fashioned glass with ice.
In a second Old-Fashioned glass place the sugar cube and add the Peychaud's Bitters to it, then crush the sugar cube.
Add the Whiskey to the second glass containing the Peychaud's Bitters and sugar.
Empty the ice from the first class and coat the glass with the Herbsaint, then discard the remaining Herbsaint.
Empty the whiskey/bitters/sugar mixture from the second glass into the first glass and garnish with lemon peel

Storm's brewin'! Passionfruit syrup and rum are the dynamic duo in this New Orleans classic.

Ingredients:

• ¾ oz Liber Tropical Passionfruit Syrup (in stock)
• ¼ oz Liber Real Grenadine (in stock)
• 2 oz dark rum   (in stock)
• ¾ oz lemon juice

Add all ingredients except Real Grenadine to a cocktail shaker

Add ice and shake hard for 5 seconds
Strain into a highball glass filled with crushed ice
Top with Real Grenadine
