The fruit for the 2021 No. 33 Riesling is from the Clare Valley. This is Hughes's playground, and he has harnessed the power and generosity inherent in the region and tamed it for our drinking pleasure. This is imbued with a scintillating acid line (the cool, even 2021 season helps here), while the fruit is svelte and generous at once. Nary a hair out of place. Immaculate.
