Co-founders Chad Brizendine & Jake Warm are no strangers to whiskey. They first partnered when Chad led a team to create George Remus bourbon in 2013 before growing exponentially and ultimately being acquired by MGP. Chad & Jake then pivoted to purchase O.K.I. in 2020 and are thrilled to be launching in Missouri in 2024!
The O.K.I. was originally started by New Riff Distilling to be sourced from MGP until their own stocks aged and ready to be bottled. O.K.I. stands for Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana. New Riff never went forward with it and 2020 Jake Warm and Chad Brizendine acquired and relaunched the label.
