Laws is one of my favorite distilleries in the U.S. full stop.
My introduction to them was about 5 years ago with a eye opening 4 year bottled-in-bond rye. I'm a rye fan and this was a RYE in the truest sense of the word. Bold spice and white pepper on the nose with chewy dark chocolate,
licorice, and sweet cereal grain on the palate. Laws on the mainline...amen, I was converted.Come on over to the Infamous Bar, taste the new 7 year. Rye and see why we are digging it how it should be dug.

Tasting Notes: Cherry cola, honey, and black currant on the nose with notes of hazelnut, mint, green mango, and serrano pepper on the palate. Finishes with a rich and buttery mouthfeel leaving lingering notes of star anise and sage. Aged for over seven years in new, 53-gallon charred oak casks. 95% heirloom rye, 5% heirloom barley.
