Meet a few of our experts at Forsyth in Clayton

Meet the Team! Aaron Zwicker, our Wine Manager at Forsyth. Aaron first joined The Wine and Cheese Place back in 1998 during his college years! He has been back with us at Forsyth since 2011 after spending a few years selling wine on the distributor side.  Constantly learning and tasting wine,  he is one of the most knowledgeable wine people in the area.  Come in and ask for advice, no matter what price range.  He can help you with any wine!

Aaron's favorite TWCP things are Champagne, Burgundian wines and of course, our house roasted mixed nuts. His favorite #STLmade local spots are @louiedemun @loafersstl, @miranchito.cln and @runningniche. Next time you are at Forsyth, stop by and say hi!

Meet The Team! James Geraghty, our resident Beer Guy at Forsyth. James started working for us four and half years ago and you may have seen him at Lamp & Lantern and Kirkwood too.  James is an expert on beer, and one of the nicest people you will meet.  His knowledge does not stop with beer, he is also great with whiskey, cheese and wine.  Come in and say hi!  He is always willing to help!

What are your favorite products?
I am a big fan of our collab with Narrow Gauge, the Amarillo hopped DDH Fallen Flag. Also, the coppa we started carrying is phenomenal. Finally, I am really proud of the barrel of Makers Mark I picked out, the Cherry Summer. It’s delicious and it turned out exactly as I planned!licious and it turned out exactly as planned!

James's favorite #STLmade spot is a bar called the Drawing Board, locally owned and fairly new. "They make one of the best smash burgers I’ve ever had!"
