Ebulliently fruity and direct, the 2022 Tavel Le Crétacé leaps from the glass to offer scents of cherries, watermelon and ripe peaches. It's medium to full-bodied, concentrated and flavorful, with a long, mouthwatering finish. It's one of the best Le Crétacé bottlings I can remember, a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% each Cinsault and Mourvèdre.
