Only the 2nd year this has been produced. It is a very unique blend 70% Carignan Blanc (a rarity, not widely planted) with 30% Roussanne. Emilie Alauze only has one small plot planted to Carignan Blanc. A very limited and exciting wine. Gorgeous nose with flavors of stone fruits like apricots and peaches. Bright and juicy with notes of citrus and pears too.

100% Old Vine Carignan
Made from old vine Carignan with a minimum aged of 40 years and as old as 85 years! What an amazing wine for this price. Fresh and rich with some spice and red fruits. Flavors of cherries and raspberries balanced out with some spice and soft tannins. This will make a great BBQ wine this year.
