Contact S is the third Japanese single malt whisky to be released by Shizuoka Distillery. Contact S is the first export release of Shizuoka Single Malt Whisky.
At the Shizuoka Distillery, we use two pot stills, K and W, to produce two types of raw sake with different personalities. Contact S is the first single malt that blends both of these raw liquors. The raw materials are mainly Japanese barley malt, Scottish peated malt, non-peat malt and beer malt. The barrels are mainly first fill bourbon barrels, and quarter casks are also used. Japanese whiskey mainly made in Japan from raw materials.
No added color and no chill filtration. Distilled, matured and bottled in Shizuoka, Japan.
