In 2013 Bill Karlson and John O'Mara set off to create craft spirits with local ingredients, high-quality production methods, and a passion that they were excited to share with their local community.Since breaking ground in 2015, Bill and John have turned KO Distilling into a state-of-the-art production facility and local attraction in Manassas, VA. After their initial offering of unaged craft whiskey and gins in 2015, Bill and John realized their goal of producing their first aged spirit, Bare Knuckle American Wheat Whiskey, in November 2016.

Whiskey is aged a minimum of four years in new, charred American White Oak barrels after being distilled onsite at KO Distilling by Ryan Hendricks in one distilling season. It is handcrafted from 100% Virginia-grown rye, and bottled at 100 proof.

Whiskey is aged a minimum of four years in new, charred American White Oak barrels after being distilled onsite at KO Distilling by Ryan Hendricks in one distilling season. It is handcrafted from Virginia-grown grains, including 70% corn, 20% wheat, and 10% malted barley, and bottled at 100 proof.

Bare Knuckle 6 year High Rye Bourbon Cask Strength 127.4 proof…$63.99
Bare Knuckle High Rye Bourbon is made with 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. It is double-distilled and has been aged in charred new American White Oak barrels for 6 years has notes of kettle corn, hot chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and caramelized sugars with airy vanilla combining like crème brûlée. A hint of dried cherry adds a fruity contrast to rye spice on the finish. Distilled in Indiana.
