Plan Pegau is crafted by Laurence Féraud, owner of the iconic Domaine du Pegau. Produced from estate-grown fruit planted just outside Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this distinctive, multi-vintage blend is loaded with character and reflects the hallmark personality and style Pegau Chateauneuf du Pape.  Never fails to be enjoyable. It is a Vin de France, a blend of 3-4 years aged in different vats, the research of a blend of fruit, spices and complexity. This atypical cuvée and symbol of authentic know-how never ceases to conquer the palate of amateurs and professionals. Over the years, it has learned how to express the richness of the terroirs on the edge of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. An intensity of the fruit mixed with a hint of fine oak character, the Cuvée Plan Pegau can be enjoyed on all occasions.

Produced from Pegau-owned plots outside Châteauneuf du Pape. The multi-vintage blend includes varieties not entitled to be grown in Rhône appellations (like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon), but also includes about one-third each of Grenache and Syrah. It offers strongly floral-herbal and sometimes leathery elements that mark it as Pegau, silky layers of dark fruit and a dry, savory finish. If you're curious about the Pegau style but don't want to drop the coin required for the flagship CdP, Plan Pegau is the way to go.
