This huge sour was inspired by the bonding between Quint, Brody, and Hooper over the hunt for the killer shark that continued to terrorize Amity Island. We immediately wanted to do something deep red and with a punch considering the task at hand. Our minds immediately went to sweet cherries and hibiscus for a balanced fruit character that worked with the acidity. Overall, this beer is more lightly tart rather than sour, making it far more easy drinking than expected.
