New Rosé Arrivals!

It is Rosé time, and we are getting in fresh 2021's weekly! It looks like the sun will come out tomorrow, and it will be a perfect day for these Springtime sippers. Come in to Kirkwood to see our ever-growing selection! These hit the shelves this week:

2021 Routas Varios En Provence Rosé...$15.99 750ml or $31.99/1.5L Magnum
We don't get too many big bottles of Provence Rosé!
Freshly cut watermelon, ripe peach aromas and floral notes lead to a palate alive with wild strawberries and hints of mineral notes. Crisp acidity and a refreshing finish. Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon
Rated 91/100 James Suckling

2021 Pali Wine Co. "Wild Series" Rosé of Pinot Noir...$19.99
The best rose is crisp, clean, and refreshing- a thirst quenching treat appropriate 365 days of the year! It wasn't until we planted our estate vineyard and received our first crop in 2015 that we were afforded the opportunity to make whole-cluster rose of Pinot Noir which is by far the superior method of making rose. Today, our "Wild Series" Rose of Pinot Noir is made from sustainably farmed Pinot Noir grapes grown on Pali Vineyard in Santa Rita Hills. It is made using only wild, naturally occuring yeasts and is unfined and unfiltered.

Pearly pink with aromas of nectarine and rose petal bursts, paired with subtle strawberry, grassy freshness, and salty stone fruit.--Winery Notes

2021 Les Lauzeraies Tavel Rosé...$17.99
Tavel is the Rhône Valley’s rosé-only appellation. These wines have nice grip and body so they can be drunk year-round and even benefiting from aging. Make no mistake however, this is still Rosé, meant to be chilled and enjoyed with a wide range of meals; it’s a great pick for Thanksgiving! A Grenache dominant blend of numerous grapes (including the white varieties Clairette and Picpoul), this wine undergoes a longer maceration than most rosé, up to 48 hours, which brings out that deeper character and color. Displaying a generous mouthfeel, excellent purity, lovely florals (violets, roses) and a light spice note, Les Lauzeraies shows great versatility and range. --Importer's Notes

Black Grenache (50%, softness and high aromatic potential) - Mourvèdre, old Carignans and Syrah (17%, color, spicy aromas and fullness) - Clairette (6%, floral aromas) - Picpoul and Bourboulenc (7%, flower aromas and liveliness) - Cinsault (20%, delicacy) - (15% and structure).
