Date: March 26th

Taste some great wines from the Southern Hemisphere -- Stop by any of our 4 locations (soon to be 5 locations!) to taste through a set of some new releases from the Southern Hemisphere. We will be pouring the following wines at all 4 locations this weekend from 1-3pm or until the bottles are empty:

2021 Casas del Bosque - Pinot Noir ROSE...$13.99
Chile
This single vineyard Rosé is made with Pinot Noir grapes planted on the coolest, westernmost reaches of Casablanca Valley.
A very pale hue of pink. Delicately fruity with hints of strawberries, rose petals and rhubarb. Bone dry, with ample body and refreshing acidity. Ideally served at 41 – 46ºF with smoked fish, salmon ceviche, fresh goat cheese salad, vegetable tempura or sushi.

2020 Casas Del Bosque - Sauvignon Blanc Reserva...$13.99
Chile
Grapefruit and a hint of freshly cut strawberry character here. A little light after the mid-palate. Very easy and approachable. Drink now.
Rated 90/100 James Suckling

2021 Rieslingfreak - Polish Hill No.2 Riesling...$25.99
Australia
Bright, pale yellow colour, with a very attractive flowery bouquet: gardenia, dried flowers, perhaps boronia. The palate is intense and refined, crisp and linear, with lovely flowing harmony and length. Clean, soft but dry finish. A beautiful young riesling. Grapes from the Jaeschke family vineyard. Drink: 2021-2033
Rated 96/100 The Real Review
The Polish Hill River Riesling comes from a single block in the Polish Hill sub-region of the Clare Valley. John Hughes thinks this vineyard produces the best fruit of all his vineyard sources.Has some generous fruit with strident mineral notes, as well as pure lime. There’s flesh and weight to the palate. Quite fleshy and concentrated with zesty acidity. So drinkable now and will age well. Screw cap.
Rated 95/100 James Suckling

Great Cabernet Value from Argentina
2018 Almarada Uco Valley Cabernet Sauvignon...$13.99

We had such great success with Almarada's Malbec we very excited to find out that made a Cabernet. Once we tried it, we knew we had to have it in our stores. This Cabernet leans toward Bordeaux in style. Nose of blackberry, graphite and a touch of tobacco. Medium to full body with rich fruit on the pallet and some nice silky tannins on the finish.
