Murray McDavid Benchmark Dailuaine 12 Year Old...$99.99
- Limited Release - 1357 bottles
- Distilled 2009
- Bottled from four casks.
- Region: Speyside
- Wood: Bourbon hogshead
- Finish: 1st fill Sauternes
Dailuaine was the first whisky distillery to proudly adorn a ‘pagoda’ designed by the renowned distillery architect, Charles Doig in 1889. With a quick distillation, Dailuaine creates a versatile single malt that matures well in a wide variety of casks. We have selected this spirit for a rare finish in French oak barriques, previously filled with Sauternes, a sweet dessert wine from Bordeaux.
Drawing influence from the seductively fruity and floral dessert wine cask for 14 months, the bountiful spirit of Dailuaine continues to shine bright. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy such a beautifully balanced example of this fine Speyside single malt.
Murray McDavid Benchmark Craigellachie 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch...$99.99
- Limited Release - 1054 bottles
- Bottled from three casks.
- Region: Speyside
- Wood: Sherry hogshead
- Finish: 1st fill Murça Tawny Port
The Craigellachie Distillery in the very heart of Speyside is an impressive sight, with its traditional pagoda and glass-walled stillhouse. It proudly displays four large, mighty copper stills, unmissable from the outside, giving you an idea of the visceral power that makes Scotch whisky.
We have taken three casks of powerful 11-year-old Craigellachie single malt and further matured the spirit in specially selected Tawny Port barrels from Caves de Murça, our winemaking partners in Portugal. After 15 months, the time had come to share this transformed Speysider. This bottling is a great representation of what we do at Murray McDavid and our Art of Maturation philosophy.

Murray McDavid Benchwork Linkwood 8 Year Old Single Malt...$76.99
- Limited Release - 1614 bottles
- Distilled 2012
- Bottled from eight casks.
- Region: Speyside
- Wood: Bourbon hogshead
- Finish: 1st fill Koval bourbon
Linkwood Distillery is one of the oldest producers of single malt whisky in Scotland. To celebrate the distillery’s 200-year anniversary, our Whisky Creations Team have selected this classic Speyside malt to mature in modern, small bourbon casks from our partners, Koval Distillery, in Chicago, USA.
With a higher wood to spirit ratio, these small 110-litre casks mature spirit far quicker than if it were in a standard American barrel or a Sherry butt. After two years in these small casks, the results are a wonderfully balanced whisky. A solid and reliable example of what can be achieved with the Art of Maturation.
