Chacra Pinot Noir

Burgundy from Patagonia?
For years we have seen collaborations between famous Bordeaux Chateaus and Argentine Bodegas, the likes Caro (Bodegas Catena and Baron Rothschild) come to mind, but rarely have we seen a Burgundian collaboration, until now plus throw in some great press too! We are very excited to offer our second vintage from Bodega Chacra Barda Pinot Noir from Patagonia, made in collaboration with Jean Marc Roulot, owner and winemaker of Domaine Roulout in Meursault. This one is even better than last year!

2019 Chacra Barda Patagonia Pinot Noir...$23.99
I love the forest-fruit, must and wet-earth character here. Perfumed. Medium body, very fine round tannins and intense, crushed stones. Hints of cedar and hazelnuts. Crunchy. Always an exciting pinot noir from Argentina. Drink or hold.
Rated 93/100 James Suckling

2018 Chacra Lunita Patagonia Pinot Noir...$39.99
A beautifully plush and fresh pinot that has much in the way of dark cherries and plums that ride on a silky, elegantly defined bed of fine tannins. This has superior elegance, depth and drive. Drink or hold.
Rated 96/100 James Suckling
