Château Maison Neuve

2020 Château Maison Neuve Sauvignon White Bordeaux...$15.99
100% Sauvignon Blanc from old vines
Great White Bordeaux!

This wine presents a pale yellow color that is very fresh on the nose with the classic Sauvignon characteristics of gooseberries. Dry and full bodied, its finish is long and mellow with just a hint of citrus. The wine is made with very low yields from 25 year old vines.

Despite its modest price, this is a serious bottle of Bordeaux!

2019 Château Maison Neuve Clotilde Red Bordeaux...$15.99
An intense and deep color when you pour it and the nose blossoms to reveal beautiful aromas of gently roasted plums, lilacs, vanilla, and coffee, and a touch of spice. The mouth is big and rich, delivering black cherries, dark plums, and hints of graphite.
Château Maison Neuve is located near Blaye in the Côtes de Bordeaux vineyards north of Bordeaux, across the river from Médoc.  Alexia Eymas is the winemaker for this property of 40 hectares – a familial property that has passed from mother to daughter for four generations.
