2018 Jadot wines arrive

2018 Louis Jadot has arrived.
2018 Louis Jadot Chorey Les Beaune Beaumonts....$41.99
The 2018 Chorey-lès-Beaune Beaumonts (Domaine Gagey) reveals aromas of cassis, plums, wild berries and dark chocolate, followed by a medium to full-bodied, layered and muscular palate that's fleshy and richly tannic. This is a hearty red Burgundy with a good future ahead of it.

Rated 89-91/100 The Wine Advocate

2018 Louis Jadot Clos des Ursules Beaune 1er Cru...$88.99
The 2018 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Ursules (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is the most reserved of these Beaune premiers crus, unwinding in the glass with notes of ripe cherries, wild berries, dark chocolate, dried flowers and a deft touch of spicy new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with succulent acids, powdery tannins and a long, sapid finish. This is very promising.
Rated 93/100 The Wine Enthusiast
Rated 92-94/100 The Wine Advocate

2018 Louis Jadot Gevrey Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru ....$113.99
The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru has an attractive bouquet of red currant, cranberry and pomegranate scents, a subtle marine note emerging with aeration. This feels very cohesive. The palate is medium-bodied with a creamy-textured opening, good depth and plenty of charm. It feels slightly viscous toward the finish. A very concentrated Gevrey, although it retains control and freshness all the way through.
Rated 90-92/100 Vinous

2018 Louis Jadot Gevrey Chambertin Estournelles St Jacques 1er Cru....$125.99
The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Estournelles Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has a well-defined, mineral-driven bouquet that is more precise and focused than the Lavaux-Saint-Jacques. The medium-bodied palate offers fine-grained tannins, a touch of powdered dark chocolate sprinkled over the red berry fruit and some wood tannins to be subsumed toward the finish. Give this 5–6 years in bottle.

2018 Louis Jadot Gevrey Chambertin Clos St Jacques 1er Cru....$212.99
The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jacques (Domaine Louis Jadot) is a beautiful wine in the making, revealing an incipiently complex bouquet that mingles aromas of smoky berry fruit, cassis and orange rind with nuances of peony, espresso roast, rich soil tones and black truffle. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with excellent concentration, fine structuring tannins that are largely concealed by the wine's wealth of fruit and a long, perfumed finish.

2018 Louis Jadot Corton Pougets Grand Cru...$124.99
The 2018 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is always one of Jadot's finest reds and arguably represents the house's most overlooked wine. Opening in the glass with notes of sweet berry fruit, plums, licorice, rich soil tones and orange rind, the wine is full-bodied, deep and layered, with excellent concentration, lively acids and a powerful, muscular profile, concluding with a long and sapid finish.

Rated 93-95/100 The Wine Advocate

2018 Louis Jadot Meursault....$68.99
Aromas of ripe apples and lemons with a lavender and honeysuckle undertone. It’s full-bodied with lovely firmness and form that gives the wine tension and focus. Hints of hay to the bright fruit in the aftertaste.
Rated 93/100 James Suckling

2018 Louis Jadot Meursault Charmes 1er Cru...$99.99
Very opulent white with pure apple, mango and lemon-pie character. Some toffee undertones. Full-bodied with depth and intensity on the palate, creamy texture and a frame of acidity. Lots of flavor with a nice, wood and vanilla complement to the fruit at the end.
Rated 95/100 James Suckling
