Tenimenti D'Alessandro Sensational Syrah

tasting and lunch at Tenimenti D'Alessandro back in 2018

Amazing Syrah from Cortona Tuscany!
In the Spring of 2018 my family and I were lucky enough to spend a week in Cortona Italy with some of our closest friends and their children. Our friends had purchased, at a Charity auction, a week at a Villa with a Chef, as amazing as that sounds it was actually better, we had a blast exploring the town of Cortona and taking day trips to Sienna and even the Perugina Chocolate Factory in Perugia, big hit with the kids. The adults however were more excited for the tour, tasting and lunch at Tenimenti D'Alessandro. The wines and food truly lived up to the billing and Michelin Star. Needless to say I was thrilled to get an email last week announcing that these wines are now available in St Louis. While Syrah is certainly not a grape often associated with Tuscany, the vineyards around Cortona grow it almost exclusively. These are truly world class wines. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
