Yet another Classic California Cab getting some love for their 2016 Vintage. We have loved the offerings from Robert Mondavi, Hess Collection, Louis Martini Alexander Valley and a host of other “Old School” California Cabernets and Mount Veeder is no exception. While the press took some time to catch up. We are happy to have 20+ Cases of the 2016 Mount Veeder on hand, we knew it would get a great score eventually!

This displays a pure core of black cherry, cassis and plum puree flavors before the back end clamps down, revealing grippy tar and apple wood notes. Shows freshness and drive, with a pervasive sagebrush detail. Give this time to round into form.
