Based on an unoaked blend of 50% Tempranillo, 40% Garnacha, and 10% Syrah, the 2017 Cariñena Tinto offers a smoky, black cherry, earth, spicy bouquet as well as a medium-bodied, charming, nicely balanced style on the palate. It has good fruit, plenty of Tempranillo character, and a good finish, and it sells for a song.
