This September Urban Chestnut brewmaster, Florian Kuplent, and head brewer, Jason Thompson, traveled to Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York to brew the first of a two-part collaboration. This first installment marries Urban Chestnut’s malty Doppelbock recipe with Ommegang’s complex Belgian house yeast.
