2014 Louis Jadot Great Burgundy

2014 Louis Jadot Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses...$299.99

The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru les Amoureuses has a more engaging nose than the 2014 Bonnes-Mares at the moment, with vivacious blueberry and raspberry coulis scents, and an underlying mineralité that draws you in. The palate is medium-bodied with crisper tannin than the aforementioned grand cru, fine tension, quite linear in style with a tingle of spice towards the gentle but sophisticated finish. It is a more restrained Amoureuses from Jadot, but one exuding class.
Rated 93-95/100 The Wine Advocate

2014 Louis Jadot Gevrey Chambertin Lavaux St. Jacques...$119.99
Healthy medium red. Brooding, medicinal aromas of black cherry, game and pepper, with a touch of menthol; my sample was mostly from new oak but the final assemblage will be about 40%. Sweet and round on the palate, with the concentrated black cherry fruit accented by a savory peppery quality. Finishes very subtle and long, with smooth tannins

2014 Louis Jadot Beanue 1er Cru Chouachoux....$49.99
Beaune vineyards are the most extensive of the CĂ´te de Beaune, between Savigny to the north, and Pommard to the south. There are no Grand Cru vineyards in this commune, but 36 Premiers Crus.   The vineyard of Beaune is almost totally inclined, that is why there are a lot of Premiers Crus, for example « Les Chouacheux », from old french « Les Sausseux »: where willows are planted. They are situated just underneath « Les Vignes Franches » at 230 meters high.
