Intense and concentrated, with ripe, spicy, cassis and dark
fruit character. Well-structured but with soft, sweet tannins. Produced in a polished, modern style, with a long, persistent finish. Excellent with red meats (hangar steak, braised lamb
shank) and richly flavored fowl (tea smoked duck).
