A great new find at our store. Delicious crisp white Bordeaux that has a great amount of character for the price. You open the wine and just enjoy, before you know it, the bottle is gone--it is that good! A classic Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc, with zesty citrus character, aromas of white fruit/white flowers, fresh cut grass, and a characteristic mineral note. Enjoy as an aperitif or with your favorite fish and shellfish.
Chateau Haut Maurin was purchased by the Sanfourche family in 1917, and is currently managed by Jean-Louis Sanfourche, fourth generation winegrower at the estate. Situated on the right bank of the Garonne, just 3 miles northeast of Cadillac, the estate is comprised of nearly 78 acres of vines in and around the village of Donzac.
