From one of the superstars of white Burgundy!!!
Mâcon Villages is issued from two plots (total 1.8ha) of clay and chalk located in the towns of Uchizy and Chardonnay. The vineyard is turned towards the South and is about twenty years old. The parcels are cultivated following organic and biodynamic methods.
Wine Making: The Mâcon Villages is aged in “vieux foudres” (wood barrels containing 53 hl) and kept on yeasts for seven or eight month before being racked and prepared for bottling which is done in July and August.
