Highly rated limited wines....

Rock Hill has about 5 cases of these in stock now ---

2008 Amavi Syrah...$25.99
Firm in texture, but brimming with dark currant and boysenberry flavors under a layer of licorice and pepper, pushing through the fine tannins to glow brightly on the rich finish. Best from 2012 through 2016. 1,314 cases made. –HS

Rated 92/100 The Wine Spectator

2009 Bastide Blanche Bandol...$25.99
Firm in texture, but brimming with dark currant and boysenberry flavors under a layer of licorice and pepper, pushing through the fine tannins to glow brightly on the rich finish. Best from 2012 through 2016. 1,314 cases made. –HS
Rated 93/100 The Wine Spectator

2008 Ojai Syrah Presidio....$37.99
The most masculine and gamey of the lineup, the 2008 Syrah Presidio Vineyard is gorgeous. Meaty and peppery, with green herbs, bacon fat, smoke, mineral and loads of dark fruit, this medium to full-bodied Syrah has superb purity and definition on the palate. Still backwards and tight, it needs another 2-3 years of bottle age and will thrill through 2024. Drink 2016-2024.
Rated 95/100 The Wine Advocate

2010 Cargasacchi Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard...$43.99
The 2010 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard is absolutely striking in this vintage. An exotic melange of dark red fruit, pomegranate and wild and savory herbs all burst from the glass. The wilder, gamier notes that are typical of this site emerge over time, but they only add complexity. This rich, full-bodied Pinot is firing on all cylinders. There is no shortage of personality or character here.
Rated 94/100 Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
