Great Summer White....

This wine is another one of our popular whites, but we have been having trouble getting it as it sells very fast.  Finally back in stock and a new package finished in a screw cap now.
2010 Domaine de la Salette Côtes de Gascogne Blanc...$11.99
Made from 80% Colombard, 10% Ugni Blanc and 10% Gros Manseng.
Fresh, clean and lively with intense exotic fruit aromas. Crisp, clean and zesty in the mouth, it offers delicate flavors of citrus fruit and grapefruit, and a long lingering finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or with grilled fish, shellfish and appetizers.
"As most shrewd readers know, Cotes de Gascogne whites can offer excellent value. Most of them are made from a combination of grapes, in this case, 80% Colombard and the rest equal parts Ugni Blanc and Gros Manseng. Crisp, elegant, honeyed grapefruit notes intermixed with some lemon zest and orange rind offer up loads of fruit in this medium-bodied, naked wine, which is completely unoaked and exuberant. Drink it over the next year."
