Great Wines...

In stock now at Forsyth

2007 Chateau Montelena Estate.....
Now in nice wooden 6 pack boxes ------>

A great wine in the making, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (just under 10,000 cases produced) possesses a fragrant bouquet of sweet black currants, crushed rocks, earth and background oak. Full-bodied and dense, with Montelena’s typical power, tannin and reserved nature, this is a big, rich, formidably endowed red that requires 4-5 years of cellaring. That in itself is atypical of this exuberant, flamboyant vintage. Given this cuvee’s past history, this 2007 should age for 30+ years.

2007 Nit de Nin Priorat....$79.99
"The 2007 Nit de Nin is a blend of 60% Garnacha and 40% Carinena aged for 18 months in 65% new French oak. Dense purple-colored, it gives up a soaring and complex bouquet of Asian spices, mineral, incense, espresso, black cherry, and plum. Silky-textured while combining elegance with power, this full-bodied effort will evolve for another 3-4 years and offer a drinking window extending from 2013 to 2027. Nit de Nin is the personal project of Ester Nin, the vineyard manager of Clos Erasmus. It is a 4-barrel cuvee sourced from 80- to 100-year-old vines from Mas d’En Cacador in the village of Porrera."

More of these great 2009 Prums arrived...
2009 Joh. Jos. Prüm Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Auslese....$41.99
"Vivid and pure-tasting, with a well-structured array of mineral, peach, citrus and savory spice notes that are tightly wound. Still, this is quite airy, especially on the impeccable finish of lime and nectarine. Best from 2015 through 2038.—K.M."

2009 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Risling Auslese...$46.99
Pure, precise and fresh-tasting, with an intense clarity to the apple, pear and tangerine flavors that feature notes of slate and vanilla. The crystalline finish is long, pure and precise, with hints of smoke and anise. Best from 2014 through 2040.—K.M.
Rated 96/100 The Wine Spectator
2007 Dominus.....$129.99
(only 12 bottles left)
The 2008 Dominus may eclipse the 2007, but it may just be a matter of style. The 2007 Dominus, the quintessential model of haute couture, is pure elegance exhibiting a seamless integration of wood, tannin, alcohol and acidity as well as a complex bouquet of cedar, new saddle leather, sweet kirsch, black currant and plum fruit and a notion of licorice. Both the 2007 and 2008 Dominus should drink well for 25-30 years.
