I feel this wine expresses the greatness of California and its hidden pockets where Cabernet can excel. The cold Pacific Ocean running the entire length of the state presents maritime influences – and with each small distance eastward the climate warms. Stony soils, south facing slopes and moderately warm conditions are the keys to producing dark, rich and good tasting Cabernet .Introduced with the 2021 vintage, this wine stems from excitement over California’s diverse vineyard land, often in lesser-known areas, that can produce exceptional Cabernet.

SOURCING: We search for sites with climatic conditions, soils and topography ideally suited to Cabernet – places from Paso Robles to lesser-known areas in Lake, San Benito and Monterey Counties.
STYLE: With ripe fruit and luxurious tannins, this wine reveals the Caymus character, and is drinkable upon release or with age.

Código 1530 Rosa begins with the purity of our Blanco, then rested for 1 month in an uncharred Napa Cabernet French White Oak barrel. The result is a refined spirit with a natural color as beautiful as its taste. Our Rosa has rested just long enough in our fine cabernet barrels to enrich the natural agave juice, yet not too long to prevent overpowering its delicate floral notes.  Serving Suggestions: Código 1530 Rosa is best enjoyed pure, or in a Skinny Rosa Margarita or in a fresh Rosa Martini.

Fruli is a high quality Strawberry Belgian fruit beer, produced at a craft brewery in Melle near Ghent in Belgium. It’s a 300 year old brewery called Huyghe which has been in the De Laet family for 100 years. It is a unique blend of white beer and strawberry juice. The juice complements the zestiness of the wheat beer and the result is a balanced and refreshing beer that is packed with strawberry fruit flavour. Real strawberry juice and wheat beer. Juice not essence is used which provides the crucial taste difference and texture and makes Fruli a smooth drinking beer with mass channel appeal. Fruli’s Alcohol By Volume at 4.1% is not too challenging & just enough to offset the natural sweetness of the juice.

Coriander & Orange peel are added as in all white beers to enhance the bitter/sweet taste.
