Comte de Langeron Coteaux Bourguignons Blanc

This one has picked up a great following at our stores.  We have it imported directly from France twice a year and we never order enough.  A new load just arrived!
2020 Comte de Langeron Coteaux Bourguignons Blanc...$25.99
90% Chardonnay
10% Aligote
Great white Burgundy at a great price!
This appellation, Coteaux Bourguignons, was created in 2011 covers red, white, and rosé wines, grown over four départements. The Coteaux Bourguignons appellation covers wines that can be blended or come from a single varietal, and which can use some more old-fashioned varietals. Production of white is very small from this area and most of them do not leave France.
A blend of Chardonnay and Aligoté of which most is matured in stainless steel. It has a great Burgundy nose with a touch of minerality that comes from the Aligote. Great flavors of tart apples and a steely acidity finishes off this great wine. Highly recommended and very limited production
