Sun & Moon Cellars

Sun & Moon Cellars
Owned by three friends who call themselves “The Wine Artisans”. The three friends: Sébastien Gimenez, Karine Ambrosini, and Frédéric Corpel met at oenology school, and now have a combined 40 years of experience in the wine industry. After working for large wineries and coops, making wine, working in sales, etc., they decided to work for themselves.

Great new values in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
You are going to love these

2020 Sun & Moon Cellars Chardonnay...$13.99
This wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in Limoux.  Limoux is arguably the best terroirs for Chardonnay in the South of France. The area is protected from the Mediterranean heat by a mountain chain, and also gets a cooling Atlantic influence, ideal for Chardonnay. In this wine, 10% of the Chardonnay is aged in oak barrels, while the remaining 90% is aged in stainless steel.
This wine has a delicately perfumed nose with subtle tropical and fruit cocktail notes. In the mouth, stone fruit flavors of peach and apricot mix with sweet pear and citrus flavors. The finish is surprisingly mineral for a Southern French Chardonnay, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for the next sip.

2020 Sun & Moon Cellars Pinot Noir...$13.99
In this wine, 20% of the Pinot Noir is aged in oak barrels, while the remaining 80% is aged in stainless steel tanks. The wine is assembled, then allowed to rest on its lees in stainless steel tanks before a light filtration and bottling.
Tasting Notes: This is a soft, easy-drinking, Pinot Noir. In the nose, earth, spice, and herbs combine with aromas of red fruit. In the mouth, this wine has unmistakable Pinot Noir varietal character, with classic notes of dried cherries, plum, and subtle hints of oak in the background. This wine is ideal for white meats, like grilled pork chops, or dark fleshed fish, like tuna or salmon.
