New Orange Wine

This "Orange Wine" spent 40 days of skin contact

2017 Fedellos do Couto • Conasbrancas...$21.99
I also tasted the 2017 Conasbrancas, which was cropped from a warm and dry year that resulted in a very early harvest of grapes with a little less acidity than in 2016. Other than that, it's the same mix of different varieties from the old vineyards produced in the same way, partly with full clusters and partly pressed and in barrique, but the wine underwent malolactic fermentation, as they couldn't stop it. It has aromas of peach and white flowers, with a volatile hint, more primary and a little warmer. The palate reveals very tasty flavors, fine tannins and a dry finish. 5,000 bottles were filled in June 2018.
