Tait wines are back!

We are proud to reintroduce the wines of Tait to St. Louis!

All 4 stores should have them in stock when we open at 11am Tuesday!

These are some old favorites!!

2016 Tait The Ball Buster Proprietary Red..$18.99
The current release of the Ball Buster is the 2016 The Ball Buster Proprietary Red. Like previous vintages, it's a full-bodied, plushly textured red, dominated by Shiraz (80%), with smaller amounts of Merlot (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (8%). Hints of dark chocolate accent black cherry and plum fruit, while the velvety tannins linger on the finish.
Rated 91/100 The Wine Advocate

2015 Tait The Border Crossing Shiraz....$19.99
I'm not sure what it says about a Barossa winery when its most striking wine (out of the three provided by the U.S. importer) is a McLaren Vale Shiraz. Tait's 2015 The Border Crossing Shiraz fits right into the house style of full-on ripeness and opulence, but it changes up the fruit profile to yield something brighter, fresher and loaded with cherry and red-berry fruit. Full-bodied, creamy and supple across the mid-palate, with a long, silky-tart finish, it's a fine but different complement to the super bargains delivered by this Barossa-based producer.
Rated 92/100 The Wine Advocate
A lovely mix of toasted cumin, chicory and nutmeg spiciness is set against a dense and succulent core of blackberry and blueberry flavors, with a thread of vanilla bean. The tannins are dense, yet velvety and smooth, and the finish lingers. Drink now through 2032. 1,108 cases made, 1,000 cases imported. — MW
Rated 90/100 The Wine Spectator
