Amazing Old Vine Chablis from Importer Kermit Lynch

Amazing Old Vine Chablis from Importer Kermit Lynch
We look forward to the release of the wines of Olivier Savary and Roland Lavantureux every year and are very excited about these two amazing vintages

2017 Olivier Savary Chablis V.V...$29.99
These exquisite wines are quintessential Chablis, with unmistakable aromas of ancient crushed shells and a pronounced, racy mineral structure.
Rated 88-90 The Wine Advocate

2016 Roland Lavantureux Chablis V.V...$31.99
This young Chablis is singing right out of the gate: you’ll find generous ripe fruit, a dense, tightly knit backbone, and a full-flavored, zesty finish of citrus and stone. There is plenty of Chablis typicity, with enough body to stand up to richer fare as well as delicate seafood dishes. It’s no coincidence vigneron Arnaud Lavantureux has just been named Best Young Talent of the Chablisien by his peers-Kermit Lynch Importer

2016 Roland Lavantureux Chablis Vauprin...$38.99
Roland’s sons Arnaud and David are turning heads in Chablis and all over the world as they have taken this already very reliable domaine to new heights in record time. Among their many brilliant moves was isolating their best village parcel in their hometown of Lignorelles (a steep, southerly exposed slope) and bottling it separately to create this single-vineyard wine that shows off the potential of their terroir. They created Vauprin for their best restaurant clients in France. We were able to secure a few cases for our private clients in the USA. This is premier cru quality, folks.-Kermit Lynch Importer

2016 Roland Lavantureux Chablis Bougros Grand Cru...$84.99
The 2016 Chablis Bougros Grand Cru, which sees 20% new oak over 12 months, has one of the better aromatics amongst its peers, clean and precise with apple blossom and light peach skin notes, the new oak present but simpatico with the fruit. The palate is fresh and detailed on the entry, well balanced and yes, showing some reduction towards the finish, although it is much better handled than many of its peers.
Rated 92/100 Vinous
