Château Le Puy is a remarkable property that has been in the Amoreau family since 1610, the vineyards are on the same limestone plateau as neighboring regions Saint-Emilion and Pomerol and sit on the second highest point in the Gironde at 110 meters above sea level. Jean-Pierre, Françoise and Pascal Amoreau are the 15th generation, and farm biodynamically (certified by Demeter). Made Naturally without the addition of sulphur , no new oak is used and they are bottled unfined and unfiltered. Barthelemy and Emilien are truly expressions of historic Le Puy Estate and over 400 years of winemaking history.
