New beers from The Bruery

Funky Buddha Collab!
The Bruery Guava Libre!...$12.99 / 750ml

This sensory getaway transports you to a corner bodega with our friends at Funky Buddha in South Florida to recreate the flavors you’d find in a Cuban guava pastry. Championing the big, bold flavors that both of our breweries are known for, we brewed an imperial cream ale, adding lactose and vanilla to impart sweet, custard-like ribbons, and guava for filling its conceptual authenticity. It’s a collaboration that’s equal parts inspiration and admiration.

The Bruery Saule Barrel Aged....$24.99
Saule is French for “willow”, a traditional nine-year anniversary gift. Our ninth anniversary ale, Saule, follows in the footsteps of our anniversary releases before it, which are loosely based on an English-style old ale, fermented with our house yeast strain, aged in bourbon barrels and blended using the solera method. This means that a portion of each anniversary ale is saved in oak barrels and blended in with the next year’s production, providing more complexity and depth of character as the years go by. The result is layered in robust and complex flavors of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and oak.

The Bruery Terreux Sans Pagaie....$18.99
Sans Pagaie is our take on the Belgian-style kriek, which is a traditional, sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels with cherries. The word “kriek” actually translates to “cherry” in the Flemish language. Sans Pagaie, our clever moniker for this beer, translates from French to “without a paddle” (see what we did there? Kriek…”without a paddle”… hello, anyone out there?). The base beer has a subtle funk, which melds gently with the fruit giving this beer flavors reminiscent of coconut, vanilla yogurt and, of course, fresh cherries. A complex beer, perfect for a sunny day in the park with a slice of homemade cheesecake.

The Bruery Terreux Goses are Red....$7.49
This is a rosé – and a gose – by any other name. Goses are Red is a stylish match of a funky, crisp and tart gose with the soft sweetness of a rosé wine. The refreshing wheat-based beer begins with some of the qualities you’d expect from a gose, including coriander spicing and a light saltiness to complement the tartness imparted by our house cultures. But the story doesn’t end there – it builds in complexity, thanks to time spent in an oak foeder and the addition of grapes, which impart a refreshing rosé character and color. It’s a charming interpretation that says all the right things, but it’s not as sweet as you.

The Bruery Terreux Frucht Passionfruit...$9.99
Welcome to Frucht, our land of fruited Berliner Weisse-style beers. Known for a tart flavor profile and traditionally low ABV, our German-style wheat beer gains even more funky notes and natural earthy-woodiness from fermentation in one of our twin oak foeder vessels – the largest known to be fabricated in this country. Each installment in the series features a new fruit, or Frucht, if we’re Sprechen sie Deutsch. Each installment in the series will feature a new fruit, or Frucht, if we’re Sprechen sie Deutsch. This installment has passion fruit added, which escalates the tartness, tropicality and palate-cleansing prowess of the base beer. Prost!
