Beran Sonoma County Zinfandel

2013 Beran Sonoma County Zinfandel....$27.99 / 750ml
Beran Sonoma County Zinfandel is the most recent addition to the Beran portfolio. It shows all the classic characters that Dry Creek Valley, Rockpile, Russian and Alexander Valley Zinfandels are known for.
Aromas of just-baked blueberry pie, raspberry, and dark chocolate with hints of vanillin oak lead to a palate that is rich and yet also elegant. This wine has beautiful red and black berry fruit flavors, with hints of cloves and pepper with a long finish.

Deep and intense, with aromas of wild berry and licorice to the bold, ripe flavors of dark plum, smoky cracked pepper and grilled herb. The tannins are firm. Drink now through 2021. 3,000 cases made.–TF
Rated 90/100 The Wine Spectator

Owned by Joseph Wagner (of the Caymus family).  If you like Caymus Cabernet, give this a try.  It has a very similar nose.
