Based on the popularity of our barrel aged version we have decided to release the Aphotic as a year round beer. We have forgone the barrel aging and developed a slightly different recipe focused on the use of Molasses, Muscovado Sugar and Star Anise. Copious amounts of Carafa 1,2 and 3 as well as chocolate malts and Midnight Wheat malts were used. Deep, dark and delicious!!!! Enjoy....Steve
Our newest release is scheduled to hit the shelves and taps in early January. Brewed in the Wee Heavy style with layers of toffee and caramel flavors with a hint of cherry wood smoked malt.
