2009 Olivier Leflaive White Burgundy

The great 2009 White Burgundy of Olivier Leflaive

2009 Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc "Les Setilles"...$19.99
This is a stunning bargain in 2009 White Burgundy. The grapes for this wine is are from 70% Puligny Montrachet and 30% Meursault!! This is amazing juice for $20

2009 Olivier Leflaive Chassagne Montrachet AC....$46.99
Includes some young 1er Cru vines
"Situated in the south of the Côte de Beaune, the village of Chassagne-Montrachet has the characteristic of producing not only white wines due to its marly limestone but also red wines (on marly brown limestone). In principle, the best Chardonnay terrain has more oolitic limestone and less clay.   The wines are rich and powerful with a long finish. Our blend comes from a "cuvée ronde" assembled from all areas of the appellation along with several lots from young premier cru vines." -- winery

2009 Olivier Leflaive Puligny Montrachet AC....$48.99
"Situated in the center of the Côte de Beaune, the Puligny-Montrachet appellation is among the most celebrated white wines in the world.  The soils are calcareous clay, rich in pebbles with good drainage and excellent exposure to the sun.It is a glorious wine of very distinct aromas : almond paste, ferns, exotic fruit, white flowers with discreet acidity on the palate and a smooth, impressively long finish." - winery

2009 Olivier Leflaive Meursault Narvaux....$47.99
"Finesse and not lacking power or concentration. This vinyard expresses itself thanks to the geographic situation.   No deep soils here but stones on the upper slopes of Meursault right above the vinyard of Meursault 1er Crus "Genevrières" and "Poruzots".   The exposure is South, South Westone of the best AOC Meursault vinyards.   The wines have a long ageing potential." -- winery

2009 Olivier Leflaive Rully 1er Cru Rabounce....$27.99
"Up north of the Cote Chalonnaise we find the vinyards of Rully covering about 750 acres, though 40% is planted with Chardonnay.  The terroir of Rully 1er Cru Rabourcé is situated on the upper slopes just behind this nice village enjoying an excellent exposure facing south, with a fairly white marble and limestone soil.  The composition of the soil is responsible for the elegance and finesse of these wines expressing floral and honey aromas with a hint of citrus.  This wine is one of the benchmarks of Olivier Leflaive." -- winery
