Papapietro Pinot Noirs and Zin

Pre-Arrival.
We will be receiving some of the small production Pinot Noirs from Papapietro soon.

"Ben Papapietro, 60, and Bruce Perry, 65, met 40 years ago while working together in the San Francisco newspaper trade...But it was meeting coworker Burt Williams that turned the pair into winemakers.  Williams was the winemaking half of Williams Selyem, and Perry and Papapietro watched (and sometimes helped), as Williams Selyem became a leader in California Pinot Noir.....the two created a ripe, rich style that evolved into their first commercial release in 1998, with the support and guidance of Williams." -- Rising Stars, The Wine Spectator
